Brian Dekkinga, a Marine Industry Veteran with over 30 years of experience, has "come home". Brian was born and raised in West Michigan, started working in the boat business while in High School, has been a part of the management team at Galati Yacht Sales since 2006, and is currently heading up their new sales office in Holland, Michigan.

After spending several years selling boats in Michigan, Brian relocated to Florida, and quickly became a fixture in the South Florida boating market, managing the Tiara Yacthts line for a large dealership in Fort Lauderdale. Brian and his family then moved to the Panhandle, and brought his expertise to the management group at Galati Yacht Sales in Destin, Florida. He is a Certified Professional Yacht Broker, a member of the Florida Yacht Broker's Association, and a Coast Guard licensed Captain. He has completed courses in the sale of Tiara Yachts, Maritimo, Grand Banks, Viking, Cruisers, Bertram, Azimut, Carver and Marquis Yachts, and is a Certified Volvo IPS Sales Consultant.

Brian has built his career on product knowledge and on unwavering attention to his customer's needs, and he has a particular understanding of the needs of the North/South Boater. While he's happy to be back home with family in Western Michigan, he will keep one foot firmly planted in Florida, his second home!

Erik has spent his entire life on the water boating and is fourth generation working in the boating industry. He received his 100 ton U.S. Coast Guard Captains License at age 18 and has made over 100 trips delivering yachts to or from the Great Lakes, East Coast and Florida. Before joining the Galati Yacht Sales team, Erik spent 12 years as a yacht broker specializing in Viking Yachts, Sunseeker Yachts, Princess Yachts and Cruisers Yachts as well as working with many other manufacturers. Erik's extensive knowledge and experience as a boater, attention to detail and his passion for boating and the water enables him to relate well with his clients and help them find the yacht that best meets their needs and desires.

Rob’s boating life started on the Maumee River in Ohio and took him all over the Great Lakes and East Coast as a Captain on ferry boats, corporate and private yachts. He had his very own boat at 10 years old, used that early experience to secure a deckhand’s position on the storied Arawanna II, and later obtained captain’s license to run ferry boats on Lake Erie and some of the premier yachts on Lake St. Clair. Along the way, Rob attended the Chapman School of Seamanship and completed their Yacht and Small Craft Marine Surveying course. After spending ten years in the automotive industry in various sales positions, Rob joined Lakeside Marine in 2002 as General Manager of their Michigan operation. Rob has training certifications from Tiara Yachts, Pursuit, Maritimo and Volvo Penta. While Rob will be part of the Holland office, he will be “at large” on the East side of Michigan representing Maritimo of Australia and offering full brokerage services. Doug has been boating in the Great Lakes for most of his life. After spending nearly 20 years in the insurance business, he decided to pursue his passion and got into the Marine Industry. After the closing of the dealership where Doug worked, he opened Glendening Yacht Sales and continued to provide his customers with the very best in brokerage services. Doug joined Galati Yachts in early March, 2012. Doug is certified in the sales of Tiara and Pursuit as well as Volvo IPS products.

Doug and his wife live the boating lifestyle, spending the summers living full time aboard their classic Chris Craft Commander.
