With just under a month until the start of the 2012 Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show in Miami Beach, Viking Sport Cruisers is already busy preparing to present the latest lineup of Princess yachts in an outstanding newly expanded display located at 4300 Collins Avenue (Ramp 34). This year's show runs from Thursday, February 16th through Monday, February 20th.
Last year, Viking Sport Cruisers made the move south in the Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show to a new location adjacent to the 4300 Block of Collins Avenue with a spectacular new display that created a lot of buzz on Miami Beach. How do we plan to follow that up this year? By going bigger, of course! With the ink just dry on the drawing for an all new, expanded dock layout that will accommodate eight of the latest Princess yacht models, the team at Viking Sport Cruisers is already well into the preparations for what is quickly becoming one of our most highly anticipated events of the year.
Earlier this week, the second of three ships arrived safely in Palm Beach with another load of brand new Princess yachts destined to be shown in Miami next month. Among these was the first Princess V72 to arrive in North America, which will debut at the show alongside a fantastic lineup of Flybridge and V Class Princess yacht models.

The iconic Princess model, Princess 42 Motor Yacht, has been setting the benchmark for fast motor yachts in her size range. Combining confident sea keeping, strong performance and class leading interior space for elegant entertaining, the Princess 42 Motor Yacht is an ideal family cruiser. This latest Princess 42 Motor Yacht adopts a lean and more dynamic profile with wrap-around windscreen and larger, sleeker windows and port lights.
The Princess 42 Motor Yacht is a wealth of design with a detail interior, from the well proportioned, teak-laid steps linking the cockpit and fly bridge, to the impressively wide side decks and
thoughtfully positioned hand rails. The Princess 42 Yacht is wonderfully practical too, with a large lazarette and storage below the cockpit seat, and an easily accessible engine room. The spacious fly bridge boasts generous U-shaped seating with an integrated sun bed aft, and a large folding teak table for alfresco dining.
Adding onto the Princess 42 Motor Yacht’s already impressive lines a refrigerated cool box is integrated into the console ahead of the twin helm seats and an optional barbecue and wet bar can be specified for relaxed entertaining on deck. Triple sliding glass doors link the cockpit and saloon, giving an exceptionally light and airy feel to the interior, accentuated by the huge wrap-around windows. Inside, the contemporary rectilinear furniture, comprising a U-shaped sofa and dining table and moveable 2-seater sofa that can be converted into an additional double bed for occasional guests, enhances the sense of space. Light, sensuous fabrics and a lustrous wood finish lend an elegant finishing touch to the practical layout.
The lower helm provides outstanding visibility while the ergonomic and advanced instrumentation and controls ensure precise and comfortable handling. Taking a few steps down in the Princess 42 Motor Yacht, the open galley is well equipped with a choice of gas or electric hob while a large fridge-freezer and combination microwave oven are fitted as standard together with generous storage space. Finally, the lower accommodation of this beautiful Princess 42 Yacht comprises of an elegant master cabin and twin guest cabin, both en-suite with generously proportioned showers.
Beautifully constructed and immaculately finished, the Princess 42 is the very essence of the modern Princess motor yacht.
