Yacht for Sale Description:
The 76RP shares the same Tom Fexas hull design and exterior styling features of other yachts in the raised-pilothouse Aleutian Series. But in this newest model, her timeless lines and time-tested performance features are matched with a contemporary new interior design that is more European in flavor than any of her predecessors.
The graceful flow and simple, clean proportions of this new design is well matched to the understated nautical style that has defined the Aleutian Series. It extends throughout a new interior layout that includes four generous staterooms and a much larger salon made possible by the longer, expansive deckhouse of the 76RP.
“We are extremely pleased to give owners the option of this beautiful new European styling and design,” said David Hensel, Director of Brand and Marketing for Grand Banks Yachts. “Combined with our handcrafted interiors, quiet ride and surefooted performance, the 76 Aleutian RP offers the superior luxury and comfort people have come to expect from a Grand Banks.”
For exploration, entertainment and enjoyment, the new 76 Aleutian RP is a compelling new choice in many respects. A spacious flybridge and the large aft deck, sheltered by an extended flybridge deck, expand the living and dining opportunities even further. The vessel’s range lets owners stretch their voyage to nearly 2,000 kilometers, or they can speed to the next port at over 30 knots with various engine options.
“The combination of hull form, diesel engine technology and engineering design aboard today’s Grand Banks provides a remarkable degree of flexibility in terms of speed and fuel economy,” said Hensel. “Yes, our yachts go faster, but Grand Banks owners are often surprised to learn that new models can burn even less fuel than GBs built years ago.”
Grand Banks Yachts will launch the 76 Aleutian RP and this new interior styling option in mid- 2011, with a planned debut along the Mediterranean coast prior to appearances in boat shows later this year.
